Huge controversy this week when New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin said that New Orleans was going to be a "chocolate city." I don't really get the controversy. I mean we already have a chocolate city, Hershey , PA. And everybody wants to be the mayor of that town. It's where Wilt Chamberlain set the NBA record for most points in an NBA game pouring in 100 against the Knicks. And there's that interstate that runs through there named The Hershey, uh, Turnpike? Anyway, I say take this negative and make it a positive. Here are my 10 ideas for things that could be developed and called Chocolate City
10) A new song from Prince
9) A lip gloss from Maybellene
8) A new channel on Sirius radio.
7) A new song from The Wiggles
6) A new dessert item from Dairy Queen that the entire family can share shaped like a city.
5) A new video countdown show on MTV2.
4) A breakfast cereal replacing Count Chocula
3) A new kind of frosting from Duncan Hines.
2) A new channel on the Spice network
1) A giant factory where they make all kinds of new and exciting and exotic candy but it's fraught with danger and run by an eccentric nut job who seems to be unstable and he has all these weird little creatures who actually do all the work like some kind of enslaved elf work force.

Say, will the Candyman be the new mayor of Chocolate City? I hear he can take a sunrise, sprinkle it in dew and cover it in chocolate with a miracle or two. I'm sure that will come in handy there.
